From picking up my mums old film camera at the age of 13 to working now commercially; freezing moments, making them permanent objects to keep and hold is my way of navigating the world. My work is heavily inspired by my love of documentary photography and arthouse cinema. I love to capture absurdity, colour, and humour and use it as a way to explore and process internal states and experiences. I'm inspired by peoples expressions of personality and am motivated by the desire to tell stories, acknowledge ambiguity, explore ontological ideas, and remind us of our common humanity.
I work both commercially and in fine art photography within the genres of portrait, product, food & beverage, and event.
